Delta Dental of Kansas received the Kansas Excellence Award in 2009. This award is based on the Malcolm Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence and is the highest honor given by the Center.
The Wichita Business Journal chose Delta Dental of Kansas as one of the "Best Places to Work" in 2009.
This award was given to the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation in 2007 for outstanding philanthropy and fundraising services in the Kansas area.
DDKS received this award in 2007. The Circle of Caring Award recognizes outstanding employee giving, corporate giving and active year-round involvement with United Way.
In 2006, Delta Dental of Kansas became the smallest employer worldwide to be honored for its use of a popular business-management strategy. The Hall of Fame honors companies that use the Balanced Scorecard in an exemplary manner to become strategy-focused, successfully execute their strategies and achieve breakthrough performance results. It emphasizes looking beyond financial information when considering strategy development and execution.
